Monday marked the grand opening of Harrisburg Town’s Veterans Park, located on the southeast corner of Route 49 and Harrisburg Veterans Road. Several hundred people attended the Veterans Day ceremony that featured speeches, the raising of flags, and the unveiling of several unique park amenities, including a three-spray fountain and copies of the country’s Charters of Freedoms. Ground was broken Memorial Day weekend on the $605,000 facility.
